The procedure for air cargo to Nigeria is you can either drop your personal effects at our office or we can arrange a collection from your address for an extra charge depending on the location. The dimension of your package will be checked against the actual weight, so we take the length, width and height. There is no maximum weight to send but the minimum weight we charge for is 10kg. Some large items with a light overall weight is billed according to the space they take up on aircraft. In these cases, Volumetric Weight or dimensional (Dim) weight is used to calculate the shipment cost. We calculate the Volumetric Weight for every shipment that you send and then compare this to its actual weight. The greater weight of the two is used to work out the price that we charge you. International Volumetric Weights of goods are calculated using the formula below: Length * Width * Height in centimetres divided by 6000 = Volumetric Weight in kilograms.

Once the weight of your goods determined, we will then email the invoice and expect prompt payment from you. We then prepare your document with the UK Customs for entry confirming goods leaving the UK with the packing list. Once confirmed with the airline, your consignment is ready to fly to Nigeria on the next available cargo flight. We adhere to full UK Customs entry NES (New Export System).
